I am a Chicago, IL based hobbyist filmmaker and visual effects artist and this site is a collection of my personal work and blog.

I have a deep passion for all things filmmaking and visual effects. This passion goes back many years to my days in college. After a long period of being dormant, I have decided to come back to my first love, art (or as I like to call it, aaht). Come follow along as I chronicle all the highs and lows involved with teaching yourself how to make film and visual effects. Along the way there should be some fun times and hopefully some interesting views and reads on the blog.

On a more personal note I really enjoy electronics, video games, movies, and anything related to film and visual effects. Some of my favorite games, movies, and gadgets are SimCity, Mass Effect, Avatar, Starship Troopers (just the first one, the others SUCKED), iPhone, and the tablets (iPad and Surface RT). The blog will primarily focus on filmmaking and visual effect, but since I'm a gadget freak you will see these other categories pop in from time to time. Feel free to join in on the discussion as it unfolds.

This site is 100% maintained by my own hard earned 9-5 personal funds.

Ads – There are no ads on this site.
Sponsors - Sponsors pick up the main costs of a site. They pay a set amount of money each month to have their ads displayed on your site and on videos. Since I have chosen not to have ads there will not be any sponsors.
